Newport News, Virginia, is all set to welcome the holiday season with its 31st annual ‘Celebration in Lights,’ starting on Thanksgiving night, November 23. This much-anticipated event will run every night from 5:30 to 10 p.m. through January 1, 2024.
Visitors can drive through the woods and waterways of Newport News Park, enjoying over one million lights along the two-mile journey. This year’s display will feature traditional light exhibits showcasing animals and sea life. In addition, the new city logo and a 36-foot light display of the USS Newport News, a “Top Gun” awarded ship built by Newport News Shipbuilding, will be featured.
Admission is $15 per car on weekdays and $18 per car on weekends, with tickets available at the gate or the Newport News Visitor Center.
