Everything you need to know about FCFVA
Welcome to FCFVA — your hub for music, games, apps, Virginia news, and social connection.
Navigation
Desktop: Use the top bar to access Home, Currents (Music), Play (Apps & Games), News, Social, and Swap.
Mobile: Use the bottom tab bar with 5 main sections. Tap "Play" to see Apps, Games, and Swap options. Tap your profile icon (👤) for Social features including Activity Feed, Members, Groups, Messages, and Friends.
Your Account
Create an account at /login/ to access social features, post to the activity feed, message other members, and connect your wallet. You can log in with username/email + password, or connect a crypto wallet.
Currents is FCFVA's music streaming and distribution platform. Stream tracks, upload your own music, and earn crypto for plays.
Listening
Browse the music library, search for artists or tracks, and create playlists. The player appears at the bottom of the screen.
Uploading Music
Earning from Music
Connect your wallet and earn $FCFVA or $BGY tokens for verified plays. Visit Earnings Dashboard to track your revenue.
FCFVA features 15+ browser games and 12+ web apps — all free, no downloads needed.
Games
Access via Play → Games. Includes arcade, puzzle, strategy, and simulation games. All games run in your browser.
Apps
Access via Play → Apps. Tools include Weather, Budget Tracker, Spanish Tutor, Audio Studio, and more.
Live news feeds from 25+ Virginia cities and regions, aggregated from local sources.
Access via News in the navigation. Click any city to see its latest headlines. Articles link to the original source.
FCFVA has a built-in social network powered by BuddyPress.
Activity Feed
Post updates, share media (photos, videos, GIFs), and interact with others. Like, comment, and share posts.
Friends & Messaging
Send friend requests from any member's profile. Once connected, use the floating message button (💬) or go to Messages to chat.
Groups
Join or create groups around shared interests. Groups have their own activity feed and member list.
Notifications
Get notified about friend requests, messages, mentions, and tips. Click the bell icon (🔔) in the nav to see your notifications. You can choose between in-app popups and email notifications in your notification settings.
FCFVA uses the Base network (Layer 2 Ethereum) with two tokens: $FCFVA and $BGY.
Connecting Your Wallet
Supported Wallets
Coinbase Wallet, MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Rainbow, OKX Wallet, and Robinhood Wallet.
Buying Tokens
Visit the Swap page to buy $FCFVA or $BGY via Uniswap on Base network.
Tipping
On the activity feed, click the 💰 Tip button on any post to send tokens to that user. Choose your token, pick an amount, and confirm in your wallet app.

Your profile shows your activity, friends, groups, wallet info, and earnings.
Editing Your Profile
Go to Profile → Edit to update your display name, avatar, cover photo, and bio.
Wallet on Profile
When your wallet is connected, your profile displays your wallet address, token balances, and earnings from Currents. Other members can see your address and tip you.
Notification Settings
Control which notifications you receive and how. Visit Settings → Notifications.
Can't log in?
Try the login page and click "Forgot password?" to reset. If using wallet login, make sure you're on the Base network.
Wallet won't connect?
Make sure your wallet app is unlocked and set to Base network. On mobile, open fcfva.com inside your wallet's built-in browser (Coinbase Wallet → Browser tab).
Music not playing?
Check your device volume. On iOS, you may need to tap play manually first (auto-play is blocked by Safari). Try refreshing the page.
Pages look broken on mobile?
Clear your browser cache (Settings → Clear browsing data) and reload. The site uses cached CSS that may need refreshing after updates.
