When you register: username, email address, and password (hashed, never stored in plaintext).

Profile Data

Information you choose to add: display name, avatar, bio, cover photo.

Activity Data

Posts, comments, likes, messages, friend connections, and group memberships you create on the social platform.

Music Data

Tracks you upload to Currents, play history, playlists, and earnings records.

Wallet Data

Your public wallet address (when you connect). We never have access to your private keys, seed phrases, or wallet passwords.

Technical Data

IP address, browser type, device info, and page visits for security and analytics purposes.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • Platform operation: Authentication, content delivery, messaging, notifications
  • Music earnings: Tracking verified plays and calculating token payouts
  • Wallet integration: Displaying balances, facilitating tips and transactions

3. What We Don't Do

4. Data Storage & Security

Data is stored on secured servers with encrypted connections (SSL/TLS). Passwords are hashed using WordPress's built-in security. Database access is restricted to authorized services only.

5. Blockchain Data

When you make on-chain transactions (tips, token transfers), those transactions are recorded permanently on the Base blockchain. This is inherent to blockchain technology and outside our control. Your public wallet address and transaction history are publicly visible on block explorers.

6. Third-Party Services

We use:

  • Uniswap: Token swap widget (their privacy policy applies when using Swap)
  • RSS Feeds: News aggregated from public sources — we don't share your data with news providers
  • DexScreener/BaseScan: Public token price and contract data

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for: login sessions, theme preference (dark/light), wallet connection state (localStorage), and notification preferences. No tracking or advertising cookies.

8. Your Rights

You can:

  • Access: View all your data through your profile
  • Edit: Update your profile, posts, and settings at any time
  • Delete: Delete individual posts, or request full account deletion
  • Export: Request an export of your data
  • Disconnect: Remove your wallet connection at any time

9. Children's Privacy

FCFVA is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we become aware of such data, we will delete it.

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted here with an updated date. Major changes will be announced on the Activity Feed.
